The first 30sec was good, when i was choosing charcters... looking at the art...
but when i started playing the game... oh boy....
pros
-Artwork, concept is solid (for the robots
-Custom music is nice too
cons
-3 of the men who suppose to be piloting the robot look very identical
-the punching looks really... silly...
-i was expecting to be able to use the gun a lot more....
i mean... a robot game where all you do is punch? i didnt expect that...
if you meant for a punching game, a street fight theme would be more appropriate...
-animation can be improved...
yes your concept is good, but you're using one block each for the limbs and thus makes for very limited form of action. of course it would be less obvious if there wasnt punching and more shooting...
-lastly the controls... the running is slow as hell, usually in these kind of sidescrolling fighting 2 taps of -> (-> + ->) would make the charcter dash, which is a little disapointing that it doesnt have....

sorry for being a raging atheist, but i was expecting this to be one of those flashes that poked fun at christianity.
but whatever the case, it was okay...
you chose quite a touchy subject to do a flash on, and some of your audience may rate according to their stand on the subject.
thus.. an unfair rating.
your art needs a little work, to say the least.
you seem to avoid drawing faces and fingers whenever possible.
colour choices are a little... poor in some scenes. like when moses splits the red sea... it looked as if he was splitting ice, not water.
quite a bit of stock animation being used. like you only drew jesus i think, once, and kept using it from the loading screen, to when he was on the cross, to when he acended to heaven.
in my opinion, to a christian such as yourself, i believe that you should have put in a little more effort into the flash?
but who am i to judge...
i wont say the music is great, (because that'd be insulting as its the only thing not done by you)
but it did fit your flash pretty well i must say.
an interesting piece, but i'd avoid such topics when it comes to making flash if i were you...
(i can see a fellow atheist few posts below me also rated fairly.)
cant say the same for those who thumbed him down as "useless review"

would help to have a hotkey for towers so its easier to maze
when you pause the game, upgrades continue. try to fix that

i honestly thought the concept was quite creative. seldom do you get to be a guy flying around shooting things. it felt fun, and silly at the same time. i loved that part.
i also loved the charge up system, it was quite innovative. cant say ive seen anything like that before...
what i didnt like was that it was way too hard to dodge projectiles. i dont know if its because they are very similar to the background (purple projectiles) (blue sky background) or it is that you're firing too much shit and the screen is way too cluttered. (red fireballs)
if anything, it was way too difficult to stop focusing on the contrasting red against blue bg, and focus on the tiny purple projectiles which will kill you.
that is my main problem with the game.
i'd hate to see such an interesting game go to waste just because of some poor colour choices.

aside from my biasedness towards world destruction, this was quite innovative.
artwork has improved tremendously
and the ability to nuclear bomb your states is pretty darn cool i must say. (althou the cost is a little... mmmm)
music is kick ass....i dont know how you get such awesome music for your games, but damn... just... wow... (thumbs up)

a button mashing game... and of course it suits dad really well.
random explosions were nice, but the last boss was quite a bitch
i'll be perfectly honest and try not be biased (because im quite the Dad's work fan)
-it would be nice if we could just continuously attack by HOLDING down the Z button, instead of having to mash it all the time
-dad's jump is a little... well i must say... crappy... it didnt really pose much of a problem till the last boss where i could hardly jump high enough to throw those marbles into his mouth.
-the game had, i think, more boss fights than "destroy # things" fights. and for dad.... i think he'd prefer the latter more ;) i certainly do.
-boss fights were nice and all, but in this sort of hack and slash game, i'd prefer to take out a whole battaleon of policemen and soda vending machines instead of just... 1 guy...(althou boss fights are still mandatory ;) just sayin there shd be more "destroying" levels.)
-graphics were... well lets just say it wasnt any better/worse than the normal dad's flash animations (which is good, since it has a certain charm to it).
but this time i think the outlines were a little.. jagged...
-all in all, i think you're more well suited to making dad's flash animations instead of games. although im glad you did give a dad's game a try, so us fans have something to compare with.

i believe many people have said it, but a smaller ship would be better...
its hard to dodge projectiles when you're so damn big...
another thing which i find really weird.. its the power-downs, or anti-powerups whatever you call it. There are few things in the world more fustrating than killing a enemy ship, only to drop a power down(so frequently) which our big ass ship can hardly avoid.
i dont know.. but whats the point of even fighting enemies at this rate? althou a smaller ship would probably solve everything, but still... it still perplexes me that enemies drop powerdowns. if anything they should be floating around space in the form of.. i dont know.. space mines... instead of dropping from the enemies.
boss fights are...okay... a little unpredictable but they are okay
neko looks like he was drawn in ms paint. or by a 12yr old. I wont even go into critising the cliche. overly anime, japanese kawaii use of na- o shit i just did didnt i...
another odd thing is when you bump into enemy ships... theres nothing wrong with it.. its just really odd.. :/ most 2d overhead shooter games just pass by or collide and explode. bumping sure is new.
an autosave function would be nice (maybe there is, but i cant find it)
and lastly... isnt gold generators... illegal? :P
come on thats pretty funny... gold generators. call it "neko's epic investment scheme" or something... a machine which is making gold is pretty... hax.
its even funnier because stuff like that should belong at a black market xD

mmm my record was 6'800'000
yeah i flew for about half an hour...
nice little game but it does get rather monotonous after awhile.
music is awesome thou, loved it.
once you get the golden gun, well... the nukes fail in comparision
1 golden bullet > 100nukes (ya rly)
the reason for a 9 is that the WASD keys hardy do anything. i know most flying-upgrade games have this, and most all of them suck just as hard. But when you put "use the WASD keys to navigate to get moneybags" in the tips. You set yourself too high, making it sound like the WASD keys are acctually good enough to help you grab moneybags on purpose.

indeed the last level was the hardest.
even thou i always expect the last level to be the hardest, i dont encounter it as much in puzzle games. (maybe the perception of "difficult" differs between the progammer and myself)
but this is one exception. well deserving of 10/10 and 5/5
